Otherwise, the 2011 Nissan 370Z is a carryover model, available in Base and Touring trim levels for the Coupe and Convertible body styles. No teenager belongs within reach of the keys. The soft, cozy material gives the comfortable, attractive cabin a higher-quality feeling.
In the car, regardless of road conditions, you feel locked down to the pavement with plenty of stopping power derived from the massive four-piston, fourteen-inch brakes. Commuting daily is not a problem in fact I look forward to it. Equipped with the Sport package, the manual 370Z also comes with the SynchroRev Match feature, which automatically matches engine rpm to wheel speed during downshifts to make clutch re-engagements super-smooth. The is one of the few cars in the class that received a safety score, and it held up well in crash tests. I am glad I did! Inside, the 370Z's materials are a big step up from the 350Z, and generally on par with other cars of its class, while the design layout retains some of the Z's classic cues, presented in a modern metal-and-plastic theme. The row of three gauges perched on the center of the dashboard is a Z tradition, but they're oil temp, voltmeter and clock, and in a real driver's world they would be oil temp, water temp and oil pressure. And all this can take place while you are talking with your friend through the hands free phone system incorporated on the steering wheel. At highway speeds, the Z has all the insulation of a shower curtain — the tires drone and the wind howls.
The sDrive30i has 255 hp, and the sDrive35i uses twin-turbos one turbo designated for three cylinders each to upgrade to 300 hp. For the Roadster, the cloth top gets a two-hump hard cover when it's lowered. The dual exhaust outlets are tidily integrated with the rear fascia, and so is the rear spoiler with the aero package. Also, using the navigation touch screen, you can check the weather, check traffic conditions, and control the sound system. The Nismo has a 350-horsepower version of the same engine. Also, while many competitors have shifted toward hard-top convertibles that leave little trunk room when the top is down, Nissan's fabric-roofed roadster retains some of the car's cargo-hauling capability.
